About
The task was to make something that I despise more appealing. I choose an ugly milk carton; being lactose intolerant, I redesigned the carton as cigarette packaging-to highlight the side effects milk gives me.
This evolved into a deeper critique of adding cigarette-style warnings on the milk packaging to draw attention to negative things from the dairy industry and later expanded into the meat industry as well. The redesign used bold visuals to make one think of the harm from the dairy and meat industries, turning what had been a simple packaging concept into greater social commentary.
